Facility Rental

Rent the Means House for your next meeting

The Means House, across the street from Tate House Museum, was built in 1797 and houses the museum shop, administrative offices, and reception rooms that are available for community rental.

The formal parlor is a 16'x18' room with high ceilings and beautiful federal-style detailing throughout. A reproduction French paper covers the walls, and a Belgian-style carpeting adorns the floor. The formal parlor can accommodate up to 35 people for a seated meeting without tables, or 20–30 for a seated meeting with conference tables. The room is also ideal for a dinner party of 12–24 with 3–4 small tables or for a small group gathering.

A small kitchen is available in an adjacent room for use for your event.

Maximum capacity for the entire Means House is 75.
